I’m a graduate student in UT Austin’s School of Information with a focus in youth librarianship. In the spring of 2015, I took a course in school library management. That summer, using the skills from that class, a $500 budget, and a great deal of scrappiness and zeal, I created an operating school library program at Skybridge Academy.
The purpose of this blog is to document my process and to serve as a resource for those seeking to undertake similar projects.
Ready, aspiring librarians? Find a space, scrap up some money, and dream big: here’s how to make a Skybrary.
